A mate who was at the game, aged 7, says his abiding memory is of Maradona booting the ball as high into the air as possible before the match - as per the famous warm-up video from his Napoli days - and catching it stone dead on his boot - without dropping it. I don't remember that bit. They did start to take the mick 2nd half, out from the back to the left who'd then hoist it over to the right, he'd take it on his chest on the touchline. I seem to recall that was Tarantini who went to Birmingham City but he's not listed in the program. They let us score our consolation, stood off to allow the shot. Great day.
